On Friday, January 17th, we are gaming and streaming once again! Volunteering for the fifth year to raise money and awareness for a charitable cause through a super awesome 24-hour video game-a-thon. This year we’re supporting our planet’s ecosystem restoration through Environmental Defense Fund.

What is Environmental Defense Fund (EDF)? Besides boasting one of the most bas-ass, sci-fi, charitable organization names out there, this nonprofit environmental advocacy group has been tackling the biggest environmental challenges for over 50 years – from soil to space.
Their vision is a simple one: A vital Earth. For Everyone.
For a little history, in 1967, the newly founded EDF made headlines by saving magnificent birds of prey like the osprey, bald eagle, and other large raptors through banning the pesticide DDT nationally. From there, the EDF has lead the charge of ecosystem restoration by removing lead from gasoline, cutting packaging waste for large corporations like McDonald’s and Starbucks, driving the clean car revolution, promoting sustainable farming with fertilizer efficiency programs, and most recently in 20224 launching MathaneSAT – a game changing satellite which they developed to find and measure methane emissions from space.

By playing video games! We’ll be hosting a livestream 24-hour game-a-thon to raise awareness and money for Environmental Defense Fund.
You can follow along on Jan 17th by tuning into any of our twitch streams. We’ll play a variety of games to keep it interesting, and encourage chats and requests!

By donating, watching, and spreading the word! You can make a one-time donation at any time for any amount, but pledging a dollar amount is the most impactful way to donate (and the most fun!). Choose a player (or players!) and submit a pledge dollar amount using the green "PLEDGE" link above. All players will game for as many hours as we can in a 24-hour time frame. Your total donation will be your pledge dollar amount times the number of hours gamed by the player(s) you support. We’ll play as hard as we can to maximize the amount and notify you afterwards of how successful we were.

At 3pm, 6pm, and 9pm, we will be opening up our lobby to YOU! If you want to play, make sure you have the game(s) downloaded, and join our WILL GAME FOR Discord server. Otherwise, send us a message in Twitch chat, and we might be able to pull you into our current game.

Since 2020, we have donated over $8,500 in total to various charitable organizations like Feeding America, Crisis Text Line, and HomeAid! Through these charities, your contributions have fed those who are hungry, supported mental health, and built homes for those without shelter.
